Amid rising cost and interest rates it turns out that wealth inequality is also on the rise.A recent report from the World Economic Forum showed that the top 10 per cent of people owned more than three quarters of global wealth.Here's another stat - During the U.S. Civil War, the top 1 percent of U.S. households laid claim to 10 percent of the nation's income, versus today where the same group accounts for about 19 percent.There was more of a middle class in the 1800s than there is today, by their standards.
