Replay | Thoughts about my Upcoming Graduate
Special Replay | Thoughts about my Upcoming Graduate I can’t believe that I have another senior this year (insert tears)! In just a few short weeks, Grace will be graduating high school and pursuing her passions as a makeup artist and esthetician. I am so proud of the young woman she has become. Before she graduates, we are heading on a senior trip (a Caribbean Cruise) this week. As I was thinking about this upcoming trip and her graduation, I started asking myself if I had covered all of the parenting talks. Of course not. How do we EVER share EVERYTHING. I did decide to make a list of some conversations and topics I wanted to have with her this week. I can’t think of another time in her 18 years that we have been alone for this long. We will be together for eight days and I thought I would mention one topic per day. BE YOURSELF LOVE YOURSELF LOVE OTHERS HAVE BOUNDARIES TALKING ALWAYS HELPS RELATIONSHIPS ARE WORK QUALITY IS ALWAYS BETTER THAN QUANTITY, ESPECIALLY IN FRIENDSHIPS EXPECTATIONS RUIN RELATIONSHIPS I am excited to spend this time with Grace. I want to say a special thank you to my husband who encouraged me to say YES to this special trip with her. Next week, I will be in Cincinnati at the GHC conference! Can’t wait to see what lessons are waiting for me there! Happy SPRING! Blessings! Say YES and have a great week!!! Thanks for listening. If you have topics you would like for me to discuss or people you would like to hear from, let me know. Just email me at kathy@thehomegrownpreschooler.com or shoot me a message on social media. We’d like to thank our Ultimate Homeschool Radio Network sponsor, Like Arrows!
