ROOT CHAKRA MEDITATION: Find Grounding with the LAM Mantra
Nestled right at the base of our spine is the Root Chakra - or if you're feeling fancy, "Muladhara" in Sanskrit. The Root Chakra is one of seven energy centers in our body, each dealing with different aspects of what makes up the human experience as it relates to the specific organs, functions, or body parts in that region. Physically speaking, our Root Chakra's tied to things like our adrenal glands, our backbone, blood flow, and the lower parts of our body. It’s like our body’s anchor, keeping us rooted and in sync with life's basic: our survival instincts, our sense of safety, our physical health.Just as a sturdy foundation is crucial for a tall building, our Root Chakra sets the stage for the rest of our energy centers. But... life’s a roller coaster, as we all know. Sometimes this energy point might feel off-balance. And when that happens, you could find yourself drained, dealing with nagging aches, or feeling emotionally turbulent. In this guided meditation, we tap into the calming resonance of the "LAM" mantra. Much like how certain songs or rhythms can alter our mood or uplift our spirits, the distinct vibration “LAM” resonates with and balances the Root Chakra. It's like we're tuning our bodies as instrument, zeroing in on that vital energy spot at our spine's base. So even when life's throwing you a party you didn't RSVP to, leaning into “LAM” can help you find your feet and take it all in stride. With this meditation, we’re not just grounding ourselves; we’re nourishing that deep-rooted connection to the Earth and embracing all of life's circumstances with open arms.----📧 Drop a line at ellie@shanti-meditations.com.🌞 Sign up for your weekly dose of Shanti: http://bit.ly/3nXt0gC
