The Non Perfect Parents Club- Protect your children, make a will
In this episode, I am joined by Nicola from Morecambe Bay Wills. Making a will is something that so many of us put off doing for various reasons. Nicola acknowledges these and tells us why making a will is the kindest thing you can do for your children. She answers the questions that were sent in via my Instagram/Facebook polls and makes the important point of how if you don't have a will and something happens, the law kicks in and they will decide where your assets go- including your children. Grandparents don't automatically have a legal right to become guardians. [Read this blog: Protect your Children! Make a Will ! - Morecambe Bay Wills]We also discuss the importance of having the conversation with our own parents; Have they got a will? Do you know their wishes? Nicola dispels a couple of myths and offers lots of great advice; Did you know that marriage revokes a will?! This episode is a MUST LISTEN to! After talking to Nicola, I love the ethics of her business- the honesty, how everything focuses on kindness and how easy she is to talk to.
