She has been featured in the Smithsonian, the Grand Rapids Art Museum, the Urban Institute of Contemporary Art, the International Auto Show and is collected in many private and public collections. Joy also teaches workshops, works with nonprofits to help make the benefits of the creative process accessible, and she is a public speaker who is passionate about sharing how beneficial creating art is, especially for people recovering from trauma or currently enduring chronic health conditions.
