Yahweh’s Servant on Covenant Mission (Part IΙ)

In Isaiah 49-1-13, the 2 nd Servant Song, we are shown 2-speeches describing the mission of Yahweh's Servant.-I. The Servant speaks to the ends of the earth--A. Yahweh called me to be True Israel -vs. 1-3-.-B. Yahweh is My justice and reward- I trust in-Him -v. 4-.-C. Yahweh commissioned me--1. To bring Jacob's remnant back to-Him -vs. 5-6a-.-2. To be a light to the nations -v. 6b-.--II. Yahweh speaks to His Servant--A. Nations will despise you, but I will bring-them to their knees because I am faithful-and chose you -v. 7-.-B. I promise to give You as a Covenant to the-people -vs. 8-9a-.-C. I promise to sustain and restore Your-people -vs. 9b-12-.-D. Creation will rejoice because I showed-comfort and compassion to My people--v. 13-.
