#130 Spoken word and grant writing with Ginay Lopez

Oh, and we meet our next guess Ginay Lopez in her office AS 220 in Providence Rhode Island. It’s a beautiful space with tons of art adoring the walls the hallways. Ginay is a great writer for a S220 and nonprofit art organization set up there to provide affordable access housing studios to local artists. It’s a pretty amazing concept, where an artist with virtually no money can find a studio and materials to create and sell their art. Ginay is the grant writer a.k.a. rainmaker for the organization  in her own time she’s also a spoken word performance artist, a poet, telling other people stories, and truly a beautiful soul. She shares some stories of her journey, growing up with a single mom, the violent brother and the challenges, not unfamiliar to us all.
